If you're sp level with a gun is basic and you play FW you can get an advanced gun that does more damage with a tiny bit more range. If it looked different then that's cosmetics and to tell you the truth, that doesn't change anything really.

I guess your next step would be PC if you're not doing that already (I heard it's horribly buggy though). CCP hasn't been giving much room for vets to you know, have fun. But it will get there. At a turtles pace maybe but soontm

Think about this: you get early access to suits, modules, equipment, and weapons with out the 500k sp + you would need otherwise. The alternative is aurum, bought with real money or your hard earned sp.

So the Caldari Railgun we have right now is actually gallente? whoa (because of the caldari appearence) I see now, Caldari Railgun varient has relatively less damage than the gallente variant, but the gallente one would be shorter range?
